Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health has been promoting a national, multi-year, and multi-systemic program to address and reduce the problem of suicidality since 2013.

Concurrently, the National Council for Suicide Prevention was established. The phenomenon of suicidality, suicides, and suicide attempts leaves its mark on society and families, and ways must be found to reduce it.

Ministry of Defense and IDF

Since 2006, the ERAN association, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and the IDF, has operated a dedicated helpline for soldiers and their families at *2201 [can be dialed from within Israel only].

ERAN’s service for all IDF personnel complements the mental health services provided by the IDF by allowing active duty soldiers, reservists, career soldiers, and their families to seek anonymous assistance anytime, anywhere. ERAN is the only non-profit organization in Israel that provides soldiers and their families with an anonymous 24/7 mental health hotline.

Ministry of Aliyah and Integration

In January 2023, the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, in cooperation with ERAN, established a new service that provides professional mental health support in multiple languages for new immigrants and returning residents. The service is available in a variety of languages, allowing callers to express their difficulties in their native tongue, share their experiences, and receive professional assistance to ease their minds.

The service gained new importance following the “Swords of Iron” war, providing support to immigrants and returning residents who, in addition to the challenges of integration, are also navigating the challenges of living in a new country during wartime. The service is provided by professional therapists and operates by phone at *3201 [in Israel] and via chat on the ERAN website, in the following languages: Russian, Amharic, French, English, and Spanish.

Israel Trauma Coalition

The coalition was created in 2002 to harness the collective knowledge, expertise and experience of Israel’s leading trauma management NGOs and government organizations.

From an initial focus on direct care, the scope expanded developing services to address broader issues in the trauma field including professional training, strengthening community resilience and ensuring national emergency preparedness.

The Israeli Center for Safe Internet (ISOC-IL)

The Center is an independent body established in 1994 to promote the internet in Israel. It is the Israeli branch of the Internet Society (ISOC). The association works to increase and make the internet more accessible in Israel, integrating it as a technological, research, educational, social, and business infrastructure in line with its goals.

The association develops and promotes essential infrastructure services for the existence of the internet in Israel, leads activities to reduce the digital divide, and represents Israel in international forums that are highly important for shaping the future of the internet.

ERAN association collaborates with the Israeli Center for Safe Internet to offer emotional support and mental health first aid to victims of online bullying and violence. It also works with the center to remove offensive content of a sexual or violent nature.

The 105 hotline

The 105 Hotline, operated by the National Headquarters for the Protection of Children and Youth in the Cyber Space, is active 24/7 and provides professional response and consultation in cases of harm, violence, and crime against minors in the online space. The hotline enables reporting a variety of offenses such as extortion, impersonation, bullying, threats, and sexual offenses, as well as the removal of offensive content. You can contact the hotline via a phone call, online report, or WhatsApp. ERAN cooperates with the 105 Hotline to prevent cyberbullying.

IFOTES – International Federation of Telephone Emergency Services

IFOTES is an international organization that brings together associations for mental health first aid by telephone. It has 32 member organizations from 28 countries, including ERAN Israel.

ERAN participates in all the organization’s activities and is represented on the international board, which has 16 members from 13 countries. ERAN holds a place of honor within the organization and leads other Western countries in many parameters, including its activities and the variety of services it provides.

CHI – Child Helpline International

A global movement of helpline organizations that work to protect children all over the world and help them make their voices heard.

The CHI network is a family of like-minded non-profit organizations and associations that unite to ensure every child is heard and receives help.

CHI has over 150 full members in 133 countries worldwide. The ERAN association has been a member of the CHI organization since the summer of 2011.

NJHSA – Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies

The ERAN association has been a member of the Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies since 2021. This network includes 150 non-profit organizations across the United States, Canada, and Israel. The network serves as a resource for innovation, best practices, collaboration, and advocacy for Jewish communities.

Within this framework, ERAN provides and assists Jewish communities in areas such as professional leadership and access to resources for mental health first aid and assistance during emergencies and trauma.

Bank Hapoalim

Our long-standing collaboration with Bank Hapoalim is both important and vital for the organization’s operations and the training of its volunteers. In partnership with “Poalim in the Community“, we hold training courses for bank employees in the branches to foster meaningful volunteering in the community and on the ERAN hotlines.

Materna

In 2023, a significant social collaboration was established with the company Materna to lead a new initiative, resulting in a dedicated support service for new parents. The days following childbirth are often filled with an emotional whirlwind. Parents experience a range of emotions, from excitement, joy, and profound love to worry, anxiety, fear, and pain. All these feelings are valid and require empathy, acceptance, and support.

The dedicated support service, established by ERAN with the help of Materna, is available to all parents in Israel anonymously and immediately, 24/7, by phone at *9061 [in Israel only], and online on the ERAN website (via chat, WhatsApp, email, and SMS). The service provides parents with a listening ear, emotional support, and mental health assistance during the early years of raising children.

Mifal HaPayis (The Israel National Lottery)

The partnership between Mifal HaPayis and ERAN was born from shared values of social responsibility, a commitment to public welfare, and strengthening personal and community resilience in Israel.

Mifal HaPayis believes that every person is entitled to support, a listening ear, and an opportunity to receive help exactly when they need it. The ERAN organization provides a dedicated and critical response to this need, day and night.

 

Mifal HaPayis is a public benefit company owned by local authorities. It operates on their behalf and for the residents of Israel, from the center to the periphery, in both routine and emergency situations. As the social arm of local government, Mifal HaPayis invests its profits back into the community across various fields, including education, health, welfare, culture, sports, environment, and innovation.

L’Oréal Israel and Maybelline New York – Brave Together

As part of the global social program, Brave Together, the Maybelline New York brand is committed to mental health. The brand’s goal is to raise awareness of depression and anxiety among young people and to make assistance platforms accessible to those who are struggling.

In Israel, this led to a long-term collaboration with ERAN – the nation’s leading organization for providing immediate mental first aid.

 

The partnership focuses on increasing awareness of anxiety and depression among young people, shattering the stigma and removing barriers of embarrassment and shame, and providing access to anonymous and immediate mental first aid.

The partnership was reinforced following the events of October 7th and the Iron Swords War. During this period, L’Oréal Israel chose ERAN to help promote awareness of the importance of mental health to the entire Israeli public.

Johnson & Johnson Israel

Our collaboration with Johnson & Johnson Israel, began in 2020 following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The lockdowns and social isolation of that time intensified feelings of loneliness and depression across the public.

 

Janssen’s support allows us to increase awareness of depression in general and clinical depression in particular, through the production of a video series, a podcast, and various articles on the subject.

Rafael Advanced Defense Systems

In 2016, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems partnered with the ERAN branch in Karmiel to train its employees for meaningful volunteering in the community and on the ERAN hotlines. This successful collaboration led to the opening of an ERAN extension within the company’s northern offices, making it an integral part of their operations. Today, Rafael employees are a key and integral component of ERAN’s volunteer base in the north.

Amdocs

In collaboration with Amdocs, ERAN association holds training courses for managers and key employees to prepare company staff for meaningful volunteering in the community and on ERAN’s hotlines.

During the “Swords of Iron” war and following the October 7th attack, the partnership and Amdocs’ impact on the association’s internal operations expanded.

Dedicated Amdocs employees built an internal training platform for us, which centralizes all the information needed to train and guide the association’s volunteers.

Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank

Our collaboration with Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank is both important and vital for the organization’s operations and for training our volunteers.

Together with the bank’s community relations team, we hold training courses for bank employees to foster meaningful volunteering in the community and on the ERAN hotlines.

Meta Israel

ERAN association is the national organization that assists Meta (formerly Facebook) in preventing suicide in Israel. The collaboration between Meta, through Facebook and Instagram, and ERAN allows social media users who are exposed to suicidal or harmful content to report high-risk situations that require intervention and a referral for assistance from the association.

ERAN, which operates under the National Council for Suicide Prevention, works in close cooperation with the policy manager in Israel to identify distress and prevent the spread of online bullying and suicidal content on social networks.

TikTok

ERAN is the national partner for TikTok Israel and TikTok Global. We assist them with monitoring and reporting suicidal content, as well as general suicide prevention. Recently, we were also recognized by the platform as a partner organization for preventing online bullying and harassment.

ERAN works to identify distress on the platform, providing mental health support and a listening ear in situations that require intervention and a referral to our services.

X [formerly Twitter]

ERAN is X’s (formerly Twitter) partner in the fight for suicide prevention in Israel. This collaboration allows us to actively monitor the platform to identify signs of distress, provide timely assistance, and refer users to the relevant resources.

 

As an organization operating under the National Council for Suicide Prevention, ERAN works closely with X’s policy team in Israel. Our shared goal is to prevent bullying, reduce risks, and make the digital space a safer place for everyone.

Yehoshua / TBWA Advertising Agency

The Yehoshua / TBWA  advertising agency, led by its owner Rami Yehoshua and his wonderful team, has supported ERAN for the past two decades with all our advertising challenges. This partnership allows us to expose ERAN’s activities to the wider public and increase awareness of life-saving mental first aid. It also helps us make psychological support accessible to anyone, of any age, anonymously and immediately.

Rami Yehoshua’s personal connection to ERAN began in 2000. His and his team’s enduring involvement in our mission is truly inspiring. Over the years, their commitment has enabled us to adapt our messages to changing times and continue providing help to hundreds of thousands of people every year.

Agendas – Creators of Social Content

Our partnership with Agendas, led by Dafna Guy-Shtegman, began in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. This connection is crucial for our work, as it allows us to engage with leading businesses and companies in the social responsibility sector, helping to advance ERAN’s social initiatives within different communities.

As part of this collaboration, we hold an annual “Listening Week” on radio stations to raise funds for the organization and increase awareness of ERAN’s diverse activities.

Cooperative Sofi

Our new website, launched in 2025, was built in collaboration with Cooperative Sofi, a company that specializes in the characterization, design, and development of applications, systems, and websites for companies and organizations.

The team at Sofi guided us throughout the entire process, from the initial needs assessment for the website to the design, construction, and launch.

Peer & Levin Communications

Peer & Levin Communications, one of the largest and leading companies in Israel in the fields of strategic communications consulting and public relations, is proud to accompany the ERAN (Emotional First Aid) association in the areas of public relations, spokesmanship, and strategic thinking. As part of this cooperation, the company works to strengthen the association’s public visibility, expand exposure to its important work, and convey its messages to wide and diverse audiences, with the aim of promoting awareness of emotional first aid and strengthening community resilience in Israel.

Blink

Our collaboration with Blink, a digital agency specializing in social media and led by Sagi Hefetz, began in the wake of the October 7th attacks and the ensuing Iron Swords War. In early 2024, Sagi Hefetz, the CEO and owner, volunteered his services to ERAN with the goal of making mental health support more accessible to all Israeli citizens, especially youth and teenagers. Together, we created the podcast, “There’s a Place to Talk About It.”

Buzz Interactive

Tal Biton, CEO and owner of Buzz Interactive, joined our team and worked with ERAN from 2018 to 2025. Together with his excellent team, they led ERAN into the digital world, starting with the creation of our website and Facebook page. The Buzz Interactive team helps us reach thousands of Israelis who need a listening ear and support.
