The Arab community
Even Strong People Have Weak Moments
ERAN’s Arabic phone service is for anyone in Israel’s Arab population, across all its sectors, including the Druze and Bedouin communities, who prefer to speak with one of our volunteers in Arabic. This line is for everyone, young and old, and for any issue.
You can talk to us about thoughts and feelings that are occupying your mind, relationships with friends or family, school or work, emotional distress, social problems, and any other topic.
Those who respond to your calls are Arabic-speaking ERAN volunteers who have undergone professional training for their role and receive ongoing guidance from professionals. If there isn’t an Arabic-speaking volunteer on duty, you can leave your phone number and we will call you back.
ERAN’s volunteers are here for you to listen, be sensitive to your needs, and do their best to help.
Under What Conditions Does the Conversation Take Place?
Callers can remain anonymous and choose which details they wish to share during the conversation.
Volunteers remain anonymous and will not provide you with details about themselves or other volunteers.
ERAN volunteers are obligated to keep the conversation confidential and not share information outside of ERAN.
If we assess there is a risk to the caller’s life, we will make every effort in our power to save their life.
Calls are completely anonymous and can be made via a toll-free call to 1201 extension 7 (dialing from Israel only), or through our online services (in Hebrew): Online chat, WhatsApp, forum, email for help, or via SMS messages.
