Soldiers and their Families

Many soldiers, in active service and reserves, cope with difficulties and pressures, loss, and trauma during their military service, especially during war and emergencies. These challenges can be emotionally burdensome and impair daily functioning within and outside the military.

Emotional distress can be alleviated by sharing these difficulties and pressures with an understanding and supportive person. Feel free to reach out and talk with our volunteers about anything that’s on your mind or bothering you. This could be about your military service, or any other part of your life, such as relationships, financial worries, romantic partnerships, and so on.

Since 2006, ERAN has operated a dedicated, life-saving support service for IDF soldiers in active duty, permanent, and reserve service. The service operates 24/7, all year round, providing immediate, anonymous, and discreet assistance by dialing *2201 [dialing from Israel only].

Family Members Also Need Support

Often, soldiers’s family members also need emotional support regarding the difficulties they are experiencing and feeling. ERAN’s volunteers are here for you, to help you cope with your worries, fears, and distress.

Will the conversation be passed on to my commanders?

The support line team includes volunteers trained to provide a sensitive and caring response, tailored to the unique needs of soldiers and their families. The service is provided with absolute discretion, allowing for open sharing, without fear of judgment or privacy infringement.

Through phone calls or online contact, you can share your feelings, confide, and find emotional support.

Don't Face Your Difficulties Alone

Coping with the challenges of military service or supporting a family member can bring feelings of loneliness, stress, and uncertainty. It’s crucial to remember that you don’t have to face this alone. Sharing your feelings, thoughts, or concerns can ease feelings of loneliness and provide tools for stronger coping. We are here for you.
